Embracing Healing and Renewal as We Enter Elul and the High Holidays
In the face of these challenges, many of us feel compelled to take action—to show our support for Israel and Jewish communities around the world. This year, there is an even greater desire to focus on healing and resilience. As we enter the month of Elul, known for its spiritual significance, it feels like the perfect time to begin.
The High Holidays call us to introspection and preparation for the New Year, and Elul invites us to reflect deeply on our actions, address what remains unresolved, and practice self-restraint to gain clarity. It offers a chance to make meaningful changes and open our hearts to healing. As we prepare ourselves for the year ahead, we must ask: How can we grow, improve, and heal in the face of such hardship? What can we do to be better in the coming year? How can we become stronger than we were the year before?
A New Year of Healing and Resilience: Our All-White Table
The concept behind our All-White Table holds great significance. The color white symbolizes everything we hope to bring to the table this year: hope, spirituality, growth, peace, reflection, new beginnings, and purity. In the face of the difficult moments we've endured, we felt that white perfectly captured the deep need for collective healing, introspection, and serenity.
Create Your All-White Table and Spark Meaningful Conversations
This Rosh Hashanah, we invite you to join us in embracing this season of renewal with intention and purpose. We encourage you to set your tables all in white, in honor of the values and traditions we hold dear—hope, peace, and reflection. Each of us brings our own unique touch to the holiday, and we can't wait to see how you infuse your personal style into this meaningful tradition.
As we prepare for the New Year, let us all commit to becoming the best versions of ourselves, working toward healing and growth. In doing so, we’ll move closer to brighter, better days ahead.
We are sharing our All White table as a way to inspire you. Our table features a Rosh Hashanah Challah Cover inspired by a bee's hive and pomegranate seeds. The cover features the Hebrew words “Shanah Tova” laser cut into the fabric. We created a special menu with the Simanim, the symbolic foods eaten during the traditional Rosh Hashanah meal on the first night of the holiday. Each embroidered napkin carries uplifting words like “hope,” and the arrangement of white flowers, accented with lush green stems and leaves, adds a fresh touch of elegance to the table.
